Nickolas Novoa Reflection #1
My intake on our group PowerPoints
I will begin on saying how grateful I am to be a part of such an organized, caring, passionate and intelligent group. These are how my folks work in group 3. It is May 10, 2024, and our group begins to present first with chapter 10. We have one of our amazing class leader Regina introducing the group members. At first the title of our group was a little out of order, causing some confusing. But things were resolved. Just like what our topic was about, "Leadership and problem solving." We have Tailynn our group leader, comfortably present the first few slides that she worked on which were task and maintenance roles, and so on. She talked with examples, knowledge and clear vocabulary. She smoothly passes the mic to Zainab who explains some procedural roles, responsibilities, confidence, and effective meetings. She speaks very confidently, super clear with her words talks with her face with excitement. We have Nicolas who presented the guidelines for meeting leaders and participates. He talked well and defined some short sentences and expands it. It was unfortunate that his camera was off, we could not have seen him. I was next and honestly it was okay. I was able to speak well but my hands were doing a lot of the talking too I had general knowledge of what I was presenting which were analyzing and identifying problems, and criteria judgments. One other problem was that my water bottle was the star of the screen LOL. Up next we had Micheal in which he presented an important topic of decision-making. He talked very good, calm, and explained things well. We had Monica who did the recap of what we presented, she seemed quite nervous but did well, she had a great smile which was the heart of this presentation. We had Paulette up next and she did very well, there were moments when she forgot some information but she executed very well. She talked about some virtual and written formats. Vickiana went up next with evaluating group effectiveness, and she did very well, clear voice, good examples and great transitions on the slides . Regina in our conclusion thanked us and ended our project very well. Even our professor was pleased!
Next Up group 2 of chapter 9, who steals the lead in going after us instead of group 1. Regina introduces the group members and will talk about group communications. Maya begins With the Nature and kinds of groups. Her voice was well heard and had really awesome gifs in her slides. Jasmine is next with her million dollar Face Camera. That was sarcastic, however she had as great camera quality as her explanations in her part. She did very well. Jesus went next, he talked about work groups, virtual groups and communications. He talked very well, and had really cool animated slides and explained things very well like a business man. We had Lisbeth next, she took a good few business days to go up next but she killed it and presented very well, with great examples and enjoyable slides to observe. Katherine went next talking about healthy groups and development. She had seemed a little bit nervous but was able to push forward. Lisbeth hopped back on and talked about accountability. And back to Katherine, what is going on. But as they have been doing it, they are doing good. Kameron went up next talking about the stages of group development. There was a great moment of lag on his end but went right back to work. He talked very clearly, but went up for only a little bit of time. Henry talked about forming, storming, and norming. He had great examples and explained his work well. He did not realize there was a change in the slides which was funny but he continued and passed it to Leonardo who did performing, adjourning and transforming. He spoke very fast but only went up for one slide. Kameron went back on for a slide and then Luis went next, just like a rap group going bar for bar effortlessly. Luis went and talked about personality related group conflict. Back to Leo in which he added on more information of culture and conflict. Then back to Kameron on virtual groups and conflict. Jasmine ended the presentation in which the awesome Regina closed off. Overall it went well, but needed some effort improvements and transitions.
And finally we have Group 1. I realized that when seeing orders of the groups, instead of 1,2,3, we went on 3,2,1 coincidentally. How amazing is that?! The awesome Regina introduced the group of chapter 3 Intercultural Communication. Daniella begins with culture and communication, she talks clearly and has very professional slides that applies even throughout the presentation. Ashley is next talking about race, ethnicity, sex and gender in which she perfectly executes some example with her family. Giovanna is up next discussing about sexual orientation, in which she uses true examples of the harsh truth of separation and homophobia. We now have Carlos who talks about religions, he speaks very detailed and has wrote a defined definition in his slide. Claudius is next, he talks about social economic status and age and generation. I like how he used his phone as a flashcard as an easy and less messy way to read off of. Albania begins next with cultures differ, in which she gives out great listings and examples. After some delay Maria went next to keep the flow going. Christian went next on power and distances, and he talked very clearly and had very great slides. He even provided us a Youtube video! With her camera off Albania went next, but after some people were missing to present. Thankfully Carlos took over confidently, in which then Giovanna continued with some barriers. Her dog even assisted her in the presentation, how cute. Unfortunately our professor had to read off a power point. During the end of this presentation it was a little unfortunate of some absences and disorganization. However group 1 did very well and to the best they could. I believe we all did great in our own way and I can say I am proud of some of the hard work that was shown.

My goodness. Your group is writing the most unbelievable posts. Excellent description of the presentations.
